Native
 
By definition, a Native is someone belonging to a particular place by birth.  My wife and I are both “natives” in the traditional sense, although we lived in Colorado for a few years. It was there that the Iowa Native concept was born. While we were contemplating our move back to the great state of Iowa, we decided that we would like to do something to show our Iowa pride. 
 
We decided that the Native sticker was a perfect way to do just that. It would be a way for Iowans residing in every part of the country or the world to show their pride in their home state. Then, in Novermber of 2005, the first Iowa Native stickers were introduced.
 
If you are visiting this site, you probably know, as we do, that Iowa is a great place to be from and to live. The people are friendly and the scenery is great, after all, Iowa means “beautiful land”.  Whether you are a native by birth or by choice, we encourage you to show your pride in the great state of IOWA by proudly displaying your Native sticker!!
